Today, I caught wind of the news that an attorney for former Stanford swimmer and convicted dumpster rapist Brock Turner filed an appeal of his 2016 sentence. Turner had already served time in prison (he was released in September 2016 after only serving 92 days of his six-month sentence), but this lawyer, Eric Multhaup, said that Turner didn’t receive a fair trial.
