Computer & Blog Update (October 17, 2017)

blog update, computer, my computer, 2017, Windows

Here’s another impromptu blog update.

Right now, I am doing a sort of backup for my computer. Since the thing is dying, there’s not point in doing a normal one anymore. What I’m doing is copying my most important files unto my backup hard drive so I can move those copies to my new computer (once I’m able to purchase it).

This process is taking so long, though, so I’m behind schedule this week. I just don’t want to overheat this computer while working on multiple things at once, but we’ll see.

What’s in This Blog Update?

As I mentioned in the last Blog Update, there are multiple series I’m working on. I might only be able to finish one this year, if that.

There are two new posts I want to publish this week (one today, but I don’t know if I’ll get done in time). If I cant do that post, I might be able to finish a related topic. Hopefully, something can be completed.

What About My Crappy Computer?

It’s touch and go right now.

Also, I don’t quite understand what this message means:

computer, my computer, 2017, Windows

But I’m looking into it. This might be connected to the Microsoft Office problem or it might not be.

In any event, I have to prepare for the possibility of being offline — or just being limited to other devices with Internet connections — for a few months. If the worst-case scenario happens, that would sideline me from major writing projects. I am preparing for that scenario regardless.

What happens, it’s gonna suck.

And it’s official: 2017 is a crappy year. It’s worse than last year.

There. I said it.

Have any thoughts on the subject? Time’s yours.
