I Have a Question for My Readers (WAW)

I’m not entirely inspired today, but I would like to ask my 68+ readers/followers a question.

Normally, I make sure to post at least twice a week. I have my Featured Posts, in which I talk about Famous Sayings. And on Wednesdays (like today), I take part in Kristi J. Simpson’s Write Anything Wednesday.

Now, Here’s My Question

Readers, should I include a guaranteed third post a week?

The idea I have is to have a week-ending post that would take into account various current events. I would do up to 20 articles a week, while providing links to my sources. There would be:

  • 10 items from around the world
  • Five national articles
  • A few local articles
  • One weird news item
  • A viewer’s choice article

For the last one, I would have to figure out an apparatus to collect that information. Either I would have to set up an email for that or utilize social media.

Why I’m Thinking of Doing This

I’m not a news network and there are plenty of news outlets out there. And there may be other blogs that do this type of thing. But I would be doing this mostly for me and any who’s interested. And if I get the hang of things, I can put my own spin on this type of post.

There are of course benefits for me if I do this. Not only would this keep me on task, but it would help me write more and get up my reading speed.

I think my readers could benefit, although I know many are well-read. For one thing, there could be an added benefit of getting more reader involvement for those who find it difficult to comment on others’ post.

What do you think? I would love to get some feedback on this.
